Our Story

 Rev. Bill Meaker retired officially from the Methodist Church ministry some years ago, and found himself with time on his hands.
At that time the Methodist Church was establishing a Conference Centre in Brentwood Park by the name of eMseni, which is a Zulu word meaning “Place of Grace”.
During the development of the conference centre it occurred to the developing committee that this was a wonderful opportunity to establish a new congregation of the Methodist Church in the Brentwood Park area.
​Bill offered to do the work of establishing this new congregation, and the eMseni Methodist Church was born in 2007. 
In 2019, Rev. Ralph Yelverton took over as senior minister.
